Road Trippin’ in The Chevy Malibu 2LZ

New York is home for me. Even though my family and I migrated south (ATL) when I was 14 I will always be a NY girl. So when I was asked to travel to the city a couple of weeks ago, the answer was obviously YES! I mean, I never really need a reason to visit but it’s always nice to have an excuse 🙂

Since a road trip is no fun without the homies, I scooped up my girls MimiCuteLips and THECraftWeb and hit the road. 

Thanks to my good friends at GM, we were able to travel in style in the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu 2LZ. This car is perfect for a bunch of bloggers on the go. Here’s why:

• Gas Mileage: We left the DMV with a full tank of gas, drove around the city for a day and didn’t have to fill up again until we were on the NJ turnpike headed home. And it only cost about 20 bucks to fill up. #Winning
• Navigation: Besides the fact that I am literally lost without it, this nav system took our travel up a notch by giving us traffic and hazard alerts even when there wasn’t a destination set.

The back up camera came in handy for all the parallel parking necessary in NYC

• Wifi: Hands down, my favorite feature. As a blogger/social media influencer, you don’t want to be disconnected for four minutes let alone, four hours. That wasn’t a problem in the Malibu because it had a built in hotspot. I cannot tell you how exciting this was. Kinda like this:
