Event Recap: RESPECT by PRSVR Grand Opening

There are some new and very well dressed kids on the block friends.

A couple of weeks ago, my girl MimiCuteLips and I got to kick it with the cool kids for the grand opening of RESPECT by PRSVR, a new lifestyle boutique in the DMV (that’s DC, MD and VA metro area if ya don’t know).

Here’s a little bit of background on the Chicago based brand:

“PRSVR, or Persevere- An Elevated Lifestyle Brand owned and operated by husband and wife Brandon and Margaret Williamson. The Chicago based company caters to those who live and work in the city. “Our goal is to create stylish, yet functional pieces that complement a busy lifestyle,” says CEO Brandon Williamson. Launched in September of 2012, the collections of travelwear, footwear, and luggage are sought by celebrities, bloggers, stylists, and everyday city dwellers. Standout clients include basketball star Kevin Durant, actress/singer Zendaya, and Hip Hop artists Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj. The brand has been featured on Empire, in a McDonald’s commercial, and in several publications including the Chicago Sun Times, Fashion Bomb Daily, Good Day Chicago, XXL, 360 Magazine, and Athlete’s Quarterly.”

Y’all already know that I’m all about mixing high and low as well as creating wardrobe clusters to make your dollars stretch and RESPECT by PRSVR is perfect for both. Stylist Dutch Priestly paired the brands high end pieces with fast fashion items you can easily find at places like Zara and H&M. Pieces can be worn separately or paired together for a monochrome look. I especially love the brands signature pop of pink against the rugged army green, camo and leather.
