Look Good Do Good

Look Good, Do Good with Giving Assistant

By  |

I like to save money… This is not news. So it should come as no surprise that when I learned about Giving assistant, I was all over it.

Here’s a little bit about what they do:

Giving Assistant isn’t a run-of-the-mill cash back website. In addition to easily earning the highest cash back rates from your everyday purchases, Giving Assistant also gives you the option to cash out when your balance is over $5 or donate some of your cash back earnings to the charity of your choice (I chose Bright Pink).

As if that wasn’t dope enough, for every qualifying purchase originated from the Giving Assistant site, they donate a meal to a family in need on your behalf. All the feels!

Giving Assistant gives you thousands of stores to choose from with products in categories such as beauty, home goods, food and tech (you can easily search your fave store by name).

“Giving Assistant is a simple, free & secure cash back community for shopping responsibly.”

I’ve heard of cash back sites before but the charitable component of Giving Assistant is what really set it apart for me. I’m all about looking good and doing good.

I went ahead and set up an account so I could give it a try. Don’t worry friends, it’s free. #FREE99

I shop online a lot so this was perfect for me. I’d been looking for some stuff at Forever 21, DSW and Target so I figured those would be my test subjects.

As you can see, in addition to earning cash back on your purchase, they also provide discount codes so that you can save even more. #Winning

You can also see the exact percentage of cash back to expect from your purchase (top right).

*Note* You see where it says “visit forever21.com to earn cash back”? That’s how the internet fairies know that your purchase originated at Giving Assistant so they get credit and you get your coins.

Speaking of coins:

You’ll get an email after your completed purchase notifying you when you’ve received cash back. #ChaChing

Overall, the site is really easy to use and cash back is easy to earn. Especially if you shop online as much as I do. Don’t judge me, I’m helping people in the process so it evens out. Right? Right.

What say you? Are you ready to sign up for Giving Assistant and earn some extra coins?
