Top 5 Reasons to Attend the Washington Auto Show

By  |

I’ve been attending the Washington Auto Show every year for the last 3 years and it’s a great time every single time.

I was compensated for my coverage of the Washington Auto Show, however all opinions are my own.

My Bloggy Boos Kirstin (Passenger156.com) and Mimi (MimiCuteLips.com) cheesin’ it up with a rep from Hyundai.

A lot of people have asked me if it was worth checking out and my answer is always the same:

Whether you’re an automotive enthusiast, a momma looking to get a new vehicle, or you just want something fun to do, the Washington Auto Show is a good time for all. Here are my top 5 reasons to check it out:

Super futuristic concept cars:This Lincoln Navigator looks like something from the future. I likes it and I wants it.

Fashion & Art: The ‘ART-of-Motion: A Visual Art and Fashion Exhibition’ presented by *Automotive Rhythms features artists and designers like Jamaal “Jamaal Lamaaj” Newman and KennyKAS Custom and add a touch of art and style to the event. You can watch live as artists create masterpieces on vehicles or as models strut and pose with this years hottest cars in this years hottest fashions.

New Vehicles: If you just want to check out the new cars on the block, the Washington Auto Show is a great place to check out a bunch of brands at once versus visiting a bunch of different car dealerships.

Chillin’ in my dream car, the Range Rover Evoque

Fun for the Family: No need to leave the little ones out of the fun! There’s plenty for the kiddos to do so that they don’t get bored and drive you crazy. This year, they can meet Leonardo and Donatello from “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” live!

Frugal fun: Tickets for the event are only $12 for adults and $5 for kids (6-12) which makes it a pretty cheap family outing. Definitely a winner in my book.

What say you? Have you ever been to the Washington Auto Show? Will you check it out?
