Superstar Angela Bassett HuffPost Live

Lemme tell you something… When you get an email asking if you want to participate in a HuffPost Live segment with Angela Bassett you say YAAAAAAAAS! 

That's exactly what I did. I couldn't get my fingers together quick enough to respond. I mean… Angela friggin' Bassett! I was over the moon. 

If it were up to me I would have had a bajillion questions about how her skin and general beauty continues to defy logic. I think it's sorcery, but she hinted at having a beauty product or something coming soon so we'll have to wait on that. 

What I did end up asking was whether she considered her roles in television more or less challenging than film. Check out the video below to find out what she said:

She also dropped some nuggets about being positive, persistent and not settling for less than what you want.

"You can't say yes to everything. You may have occupied yourself with something you're not passionate about just to keep busy."

Overall, the interview was great. She seems like a genuinely warm and easygoing person which only made me a bigger fan.
