Mani Monday: Shine Bright Like a Diamond

When friend and fellow blogger, the lovely Corner Curl Girl posted this picture on Instagram I was immediately head over heels for this color:
OPI 'I Have a Herring Problem' from the Holland Collection
It's like a winter wonderland in a bottle, all cool blue and shimmery.
The color looks equally awesome on. Of course I can't just polish my nails… Always doing the most.
Being a huge fan of anything sparkly, I decided that this color (or any color for that matter) would go perfectly with some Swarovski Elements.
Here’s the finished product:
It was simple to do. Polish nails, allow to dry, then use nail glue to affix crystals to nails in no particular pattern while avoiding gluing your fingers together. That’s pretty much it.

I don’t polish my finger nails because they chip so easily and quickly, but I love pedicures. I might try this idea on toes!

I have bought so many bottles of nail polish but then I never paint my nails :/ Can you recommend a good fast drying topcoat?

Seche Vite has a really good fast drying top coat but it can cause shrinkage (nail polish receding from the base or tip of the nail). OPI’s topcoat isn’t necessarily fast drying but it’s a really good one for long lasting mani’s. Quick dry drops work really well too.

Yes! I’ve been to an event where there was a nail bar and one day they had complimentary manis but the next they taught you how to do your own nail art and such. It was a blast.
