City Girl Goes Eco: Review of The 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco
Thanks to my friends at DriveShop, I had the opportunity to zoom around town in the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco. As always, all opinions are my own.
My regular everyday vehicle is a truck so when I get the opportunity to drive a smaller car, it’s like a mini vacation. My long commute seems shorter, parallel parking is easier and filling up the tank is much easier on my pockets.
This isn’t my first time in an Elantra, but there were a few things I really liked about the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco; here are my top 3 faves:
- Heated Seats: Listen, it’s cold outside and I like to have a warm toasty tushie so this tops the list. Don’t judge me.
- 3 Drive Modes: You can change the drive mode (Normal, Eco, and Sport) to fit your needs. I didn’t really notice a difference between the three and thought the ride was pretty smooth no matter the drive mode.
- Gas Mileage: City living means using lots of gas and my gas guzzlin’ truck hits my pockets pretty hard. Lucky for me, the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco gets 35 mpg so my pockets got to breathe a sigh of relief.
All in all, the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco was a nice ride. Although, I’m definitely a truck girl, I can certainly appreciate a small car with a smaller footprint to zip around the city in.
Interested in scooping up a 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco? You can have the desires of your heart for the low-low base price of $20,650 (it was $21,610 with the bells and whistles).
