Beginner Friendly Smokey Eye

By  |

Hey hey hey! Back at it again with another tutorial. (Wow! I am literally the corniest person alive.) Before I go into the details about today’s eye look, I just want to wish everyone a very happy New Year! I hope everyone has an amazing year ahead of them.

In my previous posts, many people commented how they want to get into makeup but due to other circumstances , never had the chance. Therefore, I wanted to make sure that this makeup tutorial was as simple as possible. Literally anyone can achieve this look. It is so simple and so easy to done. You can wear this look with any outfit. It can be dressed up with a cute black jumpsuit or can be dressed down with a pair of distressed jeans and sneakers. Whatever outfit you wear with it, you are still going to SLAY!

For the products I used to achieve this look, I used a wide variety of highend and drugstore makeup. From the drugstore, I used my holy grail LA girl Pro concealers that can be found at any local beauty supply store for less than $3! #flyandfrugal I also used my trusty Morphe 35O palette. I honestly love this palette so much because it is filled with warm and neutral colors that are perfect for everyday makeup looks. For high end makeup, I had to pull out my Laura Mericer Translucent Powder. This product will probably always be in my tutorials because it is one of the few brown girl friendly setting powders out there. It sets concealer and liquid makeup flawlessly and has NO FLASHBACK! (yes, Laura Mercier did that!)

Anyway, check out my tutorial so see how I achieved this look.
