A Week of Chic: Black + White + Nine to Five

By  |

As a Fab and Frugal Fashionista it’s important to have several Fab items of clothing that you can mix and match. Using wardrobe clusters is a super easy and efficient way to build a wardrobe and save money at the same time.

This cluster is perfect for the Nine to Five Divas!

All of these pieces can be found at JCPenney (they have been doing some Fab things as of late). Together, these five pieces give us a weeks worth of looks to take you from the desk to drinks and beyond and we do it all for under $125!

Pair the Button-Front Contrast Blouse ($20) and Tweed Pencil Skirt ($17) with black pumps (Nine West ‘Rocha’, $48.44) for a pulled together look with a little bit of sass.

Try the Curvy fit Trousers ($22) with this Button-Front Contrast Blouse($20) and a Fab bag ( Aldo ‘Leab’ tote $55) to add some femininity to a look inspired by the menfolk.

Bring some  allure and a pop of color to your Tweed Pencil Skirt ($17) with this Lace Shoulder Top ($25) . Add a structured bag (Shoedazzle ‘Sebeka’ $39.95) to finish off the look.

This Liz Claiborne Print Dress ($40) works well on its own or paired with a blouse or long sleeved top underneath. Wear with knee boots or booties (Sole Society ‘Gabby’ $59.95) then switch to strappy sandals (Qupid ‘Gaze’ $36) for after 5 cocktails.

Add some romantic jewelry (Noir Rose Drops, $28) to your Lace Shoulder Top ($25) and the Curvy fit Trousers ($22) to easily take your ensemble from the office to date night.

These are all great styles. I am loving the mix-n-match of the black and white with the pop of color. It’s great!
