OOTD: DIY Pearl Embellished Jeans

I don’t know how I missed it but apparently, pearl embellished jeans are officially a thing. I first saw a pair of pearl/beaded jeans when my girl MimiCuteLips shared that she was going to remix and recreate a pair that Taraji Henson had on at an event. Then a couple months ago, another blogging boo, Kela was rocking a dope pair and I knew I had to get in on this trend. So I snapped up a pair of boyfirend jeans from Old Navy, grabbed some pearls in different colors/sizes from the craft store and got to sewing. And sewing and sewing and sewing some more. I stopped a few times and stretched the task out over a few days but if I had to guess, I’d say it took about 3 hours to sew on all the pearls. I absolutely LOVE how the jeans came together.
